Past Programs > Pilot CSA Program

With the bounty of food growing in the summer of 2011 we initiated a pilot CSA Program with produce from The Learning Garden. We had 12 participants in this 6 week program which ran from July 13 through August 17.
We hope to offer future CSA programs and extend our reach to more of our community!Availability of vegetables, herbs, and flowers varied from week to week as different plants came in and out of season. All our produce is organic. No chemicals are ever used. All fertilizers are from the garden or the sea. Most of our varieties are heirloom.

Subscribers to our  Community Supported Agriculture program came to the Learning Garden between the hours of 2pm to 5pm every Wednesday to load up a sturdy box with their choice of the Bounty of the Garden. While here, they also enjoyed the beauty of the Learning Garden and had the opportunity to exchange ideas and recipes with others picking up their boxes. It’s all part of “growing community, one garden at a time.”
