Noyo Nature Day Camp is an extension of the Nature Day Camp that has been running for 30 years at Jug Handle Creek Farm. For seven years the Mendocino Coast Children’s Fund has sponsored this camp at the Noyo Food Forest. The camp runs from 9am–2pm Monday through Friday for two weeks in the summer and children ages 7-14 are recommended by their teachers as ones who would especially benefit for a fun week at Nature Day Camp. The Noyo Food Forest serves as the base camp, and campers will engage in a variety of experiences at Otis Johnson Park, Mackerricher, Jug Handle beach, as well as helping in The Learning Garden at Noyo Food Forest.
