Noyo Food Forest presented framed certificates acknowledging our community partners who serve the local organic produce grown at the Learning Garden behind Fort Bragg High School. These organizations support Noyo Food Forest’s Farm to School program providing fresh food for our children’s school meals. Those thanked were the North Coast Brewing Company, Mendo Bistro, Living Light, Mendocino Coast District Hospital, Fort Bragg Unified School District, Safe Passage Family Resource Center, and Redwood Coast Senior Center. Linda Pack, Executive Director of Noyo Food Forest, said, “It is it is our privilege and mission at Noyo Food Forest to make real, fresh local produce available to everyone: the children in our schools, the folks who come to the Food Bank, the patients at the Hospital, our volunteers, and those who just love delicious food. Thank you for allowing us this gift.
