We are having a volunteer appreciation lunch to honor our new and returning volunteers on Saturday, February 14th from 11am to 3pm in the Shade House at The Learning Garden. This is for us all to meet and greet, share feedback and join together in celebrating our garden community. Bring a dish to share if you can. We will be preparing a salad, stir fry and soup on site! Here is what else to expect: -great food prepared by the NFF staff -awards -sign painting -name tags -lots of smiles See you there!

You are welcome to join us at 4pm on the second Thursday of each month in the Shade House at the Learning Garden for a stimulating exchange between Garden Leaders of our coastal communities. They will share their experience and information as this new year unfolds with exciting changes. Meet our new Learning Garden Manager, Gowan Lester and her colleagues from the Stone Soup Family Garden at Safe Passage, the Headstart Garden at Redwood School, the Come-Unity Garden and other local gardens. This will be a good time to exchange seeds, bulbs, tree and perennial cuttings, starts, and connect on the plant level.
